Job Responsibilities

Track that programs establish and execute the optimum mix of cost, schedule, performance, and system supportability throughout the life cycle (design, development, testing and evaluation, production and disposition) of the programs;

Assist programs in the development of actionable requirement packages and monitor delivery/performance of program‑level requirements. Monitor and report on the process to ensure all Programs are working validated and approved requirements across multiple fiscal years as directed by the appropriate Milestone Decision Authority (MDA);

Assist program managers in developing program documentation such as Program Management Plans (PMPs), Program Acquisition Strategies (PAS), Operational Capability Statement (OCS), T&E Master Plan (TEMP), Risk Management Plans, and program schedules;

Prepare and support delivery of presentations to assist with program and initiative status reviews such as Program Management Review (PMR), Quarterly Program Review (QPR), and Acquisition Review Board (ARB);

Requirements

Twelve (12) years of demonstrated combined experience in DoD program management, contract management, and/or financial management, and a Bachelor’s Degree with a business focus or technical focus is required.

In lieu of a degree, Project Management Institute PMP certification, Contract Manager CPCM certification, or DAWIA Level III in any focus area, and an additional three (3) years of directly related experience for a total of fifteen (15) years may be substituted.

In lieu of certification, an additional two (2) years of directly related experience for a total of seventeen (17) years may be substituted.

Possess well‑developed interpersonal, writing, and oral skills to effectively communicate at all levels; consistently exercise tact, discretion, diplomacy, and elicit team synergy is preferred. Intermediate proficiency with MS Excel is preferred to include demonstrated use of pivot tables, slicers, and pivot charts. Trained in the Lean Six Sigma Program is a bonus.

Candidate must have an active TS/SCI w/Poly.

Benefits The proposed salary range for this position in Maryland is $130,000 to $160,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
