Executive Sous Chef Qualifications
5+ years of professional culinary experience, including 3-5 years in a supervisory or leadership role in a high-volume/fine dining restaurant
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations: food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
Understanding restaurant volume of over 10 million
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Passion for food, creativity, and delivering high-quality dishes
Executive Sous Chef Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, including line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers
Assist in the creation and execution of seasonal menus and daily specials
Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes
Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff for professional growth and efficiency
Manage inventory, ordering, and receiving of ingredients and supplies
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and storage areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
