As a Consulting Manager – Workday Extend, you will lead the design, development, and support of Workday Extend applications for multiple clients, ensuring seamless data flow between systems. You will gather customer requirements, develop scalable solutions, troubleshoot complex integration challenges, and provide strategic guidance on best practices and system optimization.

Location: Washington State. Pay range: $150,000.00 – $190,000.00 USD annually.

Responsibilities

Provide new solutions through the modification and implementation of existing software tools and platforms as well as contribute to the development of novel solutions.

Build, test and deploy integrations utilizing Workday Studio, core connectors, BIRT and XSLT.

Resolve day‑to‑day production support tickets for Workday integrations.

Research integration failures, perform root cause analyses, and report back to management.

Gather and create detailed integration specifications, field mappings, and designs to support the entire integration deployment life‑cycle.

Develop and maintain complex Workday reports including custom advanced, BIRT reports, matrix, composite reports and calculated fields and configure Workday business process steps.

Assist team with integration security audits to ensure data integrity and system security.

Perform regression testing on integrations during Workday releases.

Partner with cross‑functional teams to streamline and automate data delivery and data management.

Identify client enhancement opportunities for existing and new features introduced across new Workday releases.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands‑on experience with Workday integration development including Studio, EIBs and Core Connectors.

Proficiency in programming language such as Java.

Working knowledge of XSLT, SOAP, and REST calls.

Experience working with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Experience with one or more workflow languages (CWL, WDL, Nextflow) is a plus.

Familiarity with Workday administrative functions including tenant configuration, data governance, security, maintenance and system development life‑cycle is a plus.

Proven track record of leading and motivating teams to achieve exceptional results.

Strong coaching and mentoring abilities to foster professional growth and development.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with passionate stakeholders and users.

Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Sciences, Information Systems or related field.
