Responsibilities
Primary OGC contact for Audit and Assurance Practice on legal and regulatory matters; advise Tax and Advisory functions.
Organize Practice Advisory Group to support the Audit and Assurance Practice.
Stay current on audit profession developments; advise the practice.
Support development of comment letters and guidance for the Audit and Assurance Practice.
Qualifications
15+ years experience in well‑regarded law firm, government agency, or in‑house legal department; JD or LLM; licensed to practice law in the U.S. and state of office.
Deep experience with civil litigation and regulatory investigations related to audits of public and private companies; knowledge of securities laws, rules, and regulations.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; high ethical standards, integrity, authenticity.
Demonstrated collaboration skills and building strong business partnerships; client‑service orientation.
Leadership skills; navigate ambiguity and influence stakeholders; high emotional intelligence.
Proactive in identifying potential challenges, opportunities for enhancement and innovation; leverage technology.

Compensation California Salary Range: $402,000 – $880,000 (where applicable)
