Role Description This is a part/full-time hybrid role for a Removal Defense Attorney located in San Diego, CA, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Removal Defense Attorney will be responsible for representing clients in removal proceedings, drafting and filing motions and briefs, preparing clients for hearings, researching and interpreting immigration laws, and providing legal advice. The attorney will also engage in negotiation with government attorneys, review and analyze case documents, and participate in strategy sessions with the legal team.
Qualifications
Expertise in Law, including experience in immigration/criminal law
Strong skills in providing Legal Advice and conducting Legal Research
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred
Juris Doctor (JD), LLM degree, or foreign attorney licensed to practice U.S. immigration law
Active membership to practice in the U.S., California State Bar preferred.

Pay
$90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
