Base pay range $80,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr

Role Overview The Procurement Manager is responsible for sourcing all spend for raw materials, packaging, logistics services and other products needed to produce stock and customer orders for Kabobs.

Essential Functions

Create an integrated procurement function based on strong collaboration with internal business partners to drive results and influence change to drive value.

Develop, communicate and execute strategies on key raw material inputs and spend categories such as supplies and packaging.

Be a market expert in important commodity areas and effectively build strong relationships with key suppliers.

Communicate trends and market changes, providing pricing directions on commodities and buying strategies, particularly with regards to timing.

Focus on continuous improvement and innovation.

Proactively identify vendor opportunities and make recommendations to drive value, including alternatives to supply base.

Build upon the current database of vendor information containing key contract terms for utilization.

Develop analysis and reporting of key procurement metrics, spend analytics and supplier performance.

Develop sourcing calendar.

Other duties as assigned.

Vendor management, developing and managing suppliers to achieve best total results.

Food safety, work closely with food safety team to ensure highest level of Food Safety at suppliers and internally per the company policy.

RFx process, experience managing RFI/RFP processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or similarly situated degree.

At least 8 years progressive experience within a procurement function.

3+ years’ experience at the Procurement Manager level.

Effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders and strong judgement.

Experience within food manufacturing highly preferred.

Ability to prioritize and multi-task.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Physical Requirements
