Position Summary The director of sales will be a foundational leader in EDEN’s next phase of growth. This role is responsible for building and executing our revenue engine from the ground up — including sales strategy, pipeline development, outbound motion, distributor/channel engagement, and a repeatable process. This is a hands‑on leadership role: you will both

close deals directly

and

build the playbooks, metrics, and processes

needed for scale. You will set ambitious revenue goals, refine our ideal customer profile, develop outbound programs, and establish KPIs to measure success across the sales funnel.

Qualifications

Proven success in a B2B SaaS sales leadership role, ideally scaling from Seed → Series A/B.

Experience selling into trades or home‑services industries strongly preferred.

Demonstrated top performance in acquisition and expansion sales.

Experience selling into SMB to mid‑market segments, ideally with $10K–$150K ACVs.

Expertise in pipeline generation, outbound strategy, pricing, and positioning.

History of close collaboration with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success leadership.

Strong leadership with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop sales talent.

Analytical, strategic thinker with a bias toward action and hands‑on execution.

Passion for elevating contractors and field workers through modern software.

Understanding of HVAC or home‑services industry challenges is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute EDEN’s full go‑to‑market sales and marketing strategy.

Own revenue targets, forecasting, pipeline health, and quarterly/annual planning.

Build a scalable outbound and inbound sales motion, including messaging, cadences, and repeatable processes.

Personally run the full sales cycle for HVAC contractors and strategic partners.

Lead expansion opportunities with existing distributors and partnerships to drive upgrades, multi‑location deals, and usage growth.

Recruit, onboard, and manage the early sales team as the company scales.

Cross‑Functional Partnership

Collaborate with Product to influence roadmap based on contractor needs and sales insights.

Partner with Marketing to refine ICP, develop campaigns, and create compelling content for the HVAC market.

Work with Customer Success to improve onboarding, retention, and long‑term customer value.

Process, Tools & Analytics

Build a data‑driven sales process, including CRM structure, forecasting models, and KPI dashboards.

Establish pricing, proposals, and packaging strategies aligned with EDEN’s growth plans.

Improve pipeline generation through direct outreach, distributor partnerships, events, and industry associations.
