Key Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget for manufacturing initiatives.
Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, production, supply chain, quality) to achieve project objectives.
Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with manufacturing projects, such as supply chain disruptions or technical challenges.
Ensure all project activities comply with quality standards, safety regulations, and industry-specific requirements.
Manage communication and expectations with all project stakeholders, from shop floor to executive leadership.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing processes through project execution.
Recommended Qualifications
Experience managing full lifecycle projects within a manufacturing environment (e.g., NPI, capital expenditure, process improvement).
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and supply chain management.
Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and PM software tools.
Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams in a production setting.
Familiarity with continuous improvement principles (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) applied to manufacturing operations.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
Proficiency with ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or PLM systems relevant to manufacturing.
Understanding of manufacturing automation, robotics, or advanced production technologies.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems or other industry-specific quality standards.
