Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategies for optimizing inventory levels to ensure material availability and minimize carrying costs.
Oversee the planning, scheduling, and procurement of raw materials and components to meet production requirements.
Manage supplier relationships, performance, and contracts to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and on-time delivery.
Implement and maintain robust inventory control systems, including cycle counting and physical inventory processes.
Collaborate cross-functionally with production, sales, and engineering to align material flow with manufacturing schedules and new product development.
Analyze material usage, forecasts, and market trends to drive continuous improvement in supply chain efficiency and cost reduction initiatives.
Lead, mentor, and develop the materials planning and warehouse operations teams.
Recommended Qualifications
Proven experience in materials management, supply chain, or procurement leadership within a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Expertise in ERP/MRP systems and advanced proficiency in data analysis tools.
Strong understanding of inventory control, demand forecasting, and production planning methodologies.
Demonstrated leadership, negotiation, and cross-functional communication skills.
Bonus Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
Proficiency in advanced data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Experience with global supply chain management and international logistics.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
