The Controls Engineer will focus on supporting a Transmission Gear Program. Key responsibilities include:
Validate program capabilities using Siemens PLCs and CNC motion control systems
Commission new equipment and ensure proper functionality
Program and troubleshoot electrical systems
Actively participate in safety sign-offs and compliance checks
Verify equipment capabilities and performance
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and coordinate meetings with Tier I suppliers

Additional Skills & Qualifications Preferred:
10+ years of experience in Controls Engineering
Extensive software programming experience (Siemens preferred)
Knowledge of international electrical and safety standards (UL, ISO, IEC)
Familiarity with internal/external safety processes (risk assessments, PSS, coordinated safety)
Experience with program delivery from cost study phase through launch
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, OH.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/hr.
