Akkodis is seeking a

Site Reliability Engineer

for a

Contract

with a client in

Fort Mill, SC.

Candidates must have hands‑on experience in Site Reliability Engineering and managing high‑impact production support.

Rate Range:

$47/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Site Reliability Engineer Job Responsibilities Include

Ensure system reliability, availability, and performance by designing and implementing scalable infrastructure solutions.

Monitor production systems and proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime.

Automate operational tasks using scripts and tools to improve system efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

Manage incident response and postmortem processes to continuously improve system resilience.

Collaborate with development teams to embed reliability into application design and deployment.

Implement and maintain observability tools (e.g., logging, monitoring, alerting) to gain insights into system health.

Participate in on-call rotations and provide support during critical incidents.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

8–10 years of experience in production support and reliability engineering.

Proven hands‑on experience in managing large‑scale production environments with SRE principles.

Strong skills in incident prioritization and cross‑team coordination during critical outages.
