Hackensack Meridian Health’s nursing team at Jersey Shore University Medical Center is searching for a Clinical Nurse Specialist to support our patients, physicians, and community through evidence‑based practice and continuous professional development.
Responsibilities
Function as an expert clinical nurse resource, assisting team members, physicians, patients, and the community with new or complex interventions.
Act as a role model, demonstrating current trends and providing professional development opportunities for team members.
Independently develop, implement, and evaluate educational plans to meet the needs of team members.
Actively participate in research, applying findings to enhance patient care.
Serve as the clinical nurse specialist for nursing staff, administrators, physicians, and the community.
Facilitate patient teaching and support programs using the nursing process.
Qualifications
Current and valid RN license in the State of New Jersey.
MSN or Master’s Degree in a health‑related field.
Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification.
ACLS certification – preferred.
CNS certification – preferred.
Experience as a nurse educator – highly valued.
National certification – strongly preferred.
Compensation Minimum rate of $51.49 hourly, plus a comprehensive benefits package. Position is per diem with 20+ hours per week.
