PreOp/PACU RN – Outpatient Surgical Center – Greater Houston Area
Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients before and after surgical procedures in a focused, fast-paced outpatient setting.
Utilize your perioperative expertise to support a smooth surgical experience—preparing patients in PreOp and monitoring recovery in PACU—while working in a team-oriented, cross‑trained environment.

What You’ll Do
Perform comprehensive PreOp assessments and prepare patients for surgery
Provide post‑anesthesia care, monitor vitals, and manage recovery for patients in PACU
Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and discharge instructions
Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure smooth handoffs and patient safety
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical protocols
Respond effectively to patient needs and changes in condition
Cross‑train and rotate between PreOp and PACU as needed
Support the center’s culture of high accountability and patient‑centered care
What You Need to Have
Active RN license in Texas
– Required
1+
year of experience in perioperative care, surgical center, orthopedics, or pain management
BLS and ACLS Certification – Required
Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
Ability to thrive in a team‑based, cross‑functional environment
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
No on‑call, no weekends, and no holidays
