Instrumentation and Controls Engineer – Intermediate (Data Centers)

Base pay range $69,500.00/yr - $95,500.00/yr
Responsibilities
Develop control system designs and documentation, including P&IDs, valve sizing, instrumentation specification, and design models.
Ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards.
Accountable for the schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks throughout project life cycle.
Provide on‑site assistance during startup and coordinate work activities with other staff and the discipline lead.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver complete, world‑class solutions for new facilities.
Produce options and optimizations for all aspects of process control, instrumentation, and automation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering
At least 2 years of experience working with Instrumentation and Control
Working knowledge of DDC, PLC, DCS, and other control applications
Experience working with Data Centers
Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Forward‑thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute innovative ideas
Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
Passion for buildings and construction
Exceptional organizational skills
