RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the Clinic Finance Manager with insurance operations including submission of claims, posting payments, claim research, and insurance verification.
Assist with other finance‑related office operations such as processing and payment of invoices, benefit accrual tracking, and collections policies.
Assist with claim submission and posting of payments of PPA/PDA, and research and resolve claim denials from in‑network and out‑of‑network insurance companies.
Oversee that insurance A/R is in current standing and serve as point of contact for all patient insurance inquiries.
Generate collection letters for patients with outstanding balances and collaborate with the Clinic Finance Manager on submission of patient balances to Allied.
Set up payroll deduction for payment plan patients.
Gather all credentialing requirements for provider network relations and assist with follow‑up required by various insurance companies, adhering to time‑sensitive deadlines.
Process invoices from multiple vendors and track spending to ensure proper PO balances are in line and do not exceed budget.
Serve as backup to the front desk, assist in logging into the phone system when needed, and help with other admin tasks such as scheduling meetings, minute‑taking, mail assortment, magazine renewals, and office supply ordering.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
3–5 years of work experience in a related field.
