Parking Enforcement Officer

Shift:

Saturday & Sunday 7am–3pm or 3pm–11pm. Responsibilities

Patrol assigned areas to observe automobiles, motorcycles, commercial vehicles, and other vehicles for parking violations in multiple locations. Issue citations for improper use of parking spaces such as parking in crosswalks, sidewalks, motorcycles, preferential areas, and related violations. Operate license plate reading technology through a touch‑screen interface. Supervise towing and removal of vehicles by contracted vendors. Check the operational condition of enforcement vehicles and perform routine maintenance such as fueling. Complete data required for citations, including violation type, time, date, location, vehicle license plate number and/or VIN. Assist with trash pickup at multiple locations. Use a "Barnacle" boot device to impound vehicles in violation. Exercise proper judgment, tac and diplomacy when dealing with patrons. Provide company standards of service, maintain uniform appearance, greet patrons, answer questions, resolve issues. Perform small cleaning or maintenance tasks as requested by local management. Complete other special projects as assigned by location management. Requirements

At least 18 years old. Valid driver’s license held for at least 3 years. Minimum of 3 years of driving experience. High school degree preferred but not required. Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with employees, customers, and the public. Ability to resolve customer issues professionally and courteously. Availability for morning, evening, and overnight shifts. Benefits
