AlphaBEST Education provides extended day, summer, and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students while they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment.
Location(s): Kettering Elementary School and PE Williams Elementary School (bilingual preferred for PE Williams Spanish immersion school). Patuxent and Kingsford. Monday through Friday. AM 7am-8:30am, PM shift 1:30pm-6pm.
Pay: $16.50.
Hours: AM SHIFT 7am-8:30am, PM SHIFT 1:15pm-6pm.
We're Looking For Someone Who
Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment.
Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely.
Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed.
In This Role, You Will
Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts).
Make child safety the top priority at all times.
Keep the space clean and organized.
Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included.
Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff.
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent required.
CPR and First Aid certification required.
Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds).
90‑hour Certification in school age or early childhood (or at least one of the 45‑hour growth development or 45‑hour school age curriculum certificates). AlphaBEST provides Certification Training for Group Leader and Site Director positions to complete any missing certification.
