Base pay range $190,000.00/yr – $220,000.00/yr

Overview The Chicago office of Fisher Phillips seeks to hire an experienced employment litigation associate to join our Employment Litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 4-6 years of employment experience looking to grow a practice under the mentorship of talented partners. We are looking for the next team member to join our community, someone who thrives in a hybrid work environment, and has a growth mindset.

Responsibilities

Work as part of a team handling litigation matters from start to finish, including responding to pleadings, managing discovery, taking depositions, arguing motions, and participating in mediations.

Work with clients on various day‑to‑day challenges under all employment laws, drafting/revising handbooks, training, and similar activities.

Educate clients through learning programs geared to guide them through challenging moments with their business using unique technology platforms.

Qualifications

4–6 years of employment litigation experience.

Excellent academic credentials, strong writing and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.

Commitment to and empathy for team members, and a relentless commitment to growth and client service.

Admission to the Illinois Bar and a JD from an ABA‑accredited law school.
