Role Overview Due to significant growth and expansion, we are seeking an Analyst or Senior Analyst to join the Performance Reporting Group (PRG) located in either our Coral Gables, Boston, or London office. The successful candidate will play an integral role in analyzing, evaluating, providing insights, and summarizing the performance of investments, portfolios, and funds for internal constituents and investors. The team conducts various ad‑hoc and pro‑forma analyses related to performance and assists in developing new fund products and strategies. The selected candidate will work closely with teams across the organization, including Capital Formation, Deal Teams, Investor Reporting and Services, Accounting, Operations, Valuation, and Senior Management.
Role Responsibilities
Calculate gross, net, and pro‑forma IRRs, TWRs, multiples, and other performance and financial metrics.
Maintain, own, and prepare attribution reports, investor reports, performance metrics reports, and track records.
Engage directly with senior leadership, capital formation, and deal teams to produce valuable insights.
Develop and enhance data extracts and report templates to accurately aggregate data for investment and fund analysis.
Conduct ad‑hoc and pro‑forma analytics at the investment, portfolio, and fund level as needed.
Assist with projects to standardize and enrich data across the platform for meaningful reporting.
Actively monitor investment and fund performance to ensure accurate reflections in reports.
Model fund and strategy returns with pro‑forma and sensitivity analyses for Deal Teams and Senior Management.
Requirements & Qualifications
Analyst: 1‑3 years of relevant experience in finance, business analytics, or investment operations, preferably within financial services (banking, private equity, hedge fund, etc.).
Senior Analyst: 5+ years of relevant experience in finance, business analytics, or investment operations, preferably within financial services.
Accounting, Finance, or STEM degree with a strong academic record; graduate degree or advanced certifications (e.g., CFA) are advantageous.
Experience calculating performance and financial ratios for private equity, private credit, and/or real‑asset portfolios.
Experience with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) preferred.
Distressed debt or direct lending experience, specifically term loans, revolvers, total return swaps, mezzanine debt, and public and private bonds.
Advanced Excel skills – capable of developing and enhancing complex, sophisticated models.
Strong data and systems skills – ability to work with large data sets and use tools to extract, aggregate, and manipulate data efficiently.
Ownership of work product, accountability, and leadership in quality, process improvement, and attention to detail.
Strong planning and organizational skills; ability to adapt to new challenges and handle multiple projects.
Effective communicator, both verbal and written, capable of engaging senior members and external parties and building relationships across departments.
Proactive problem solver with strong critical thinking and meticulous attention to detail, bringing creative solutions.
Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and willingness to deliver high‑quality results under tight deadlines.
Ability to multi‑task and communicate change agility with an evolving workload.
Experience with FIS VPM, Investran, IVP Polaris or similar portfolio accounting systems is a plus.
