As a Demand Planner for the Consumer Tire Business, you will be responsible for creating and managing accurate demand forecasts, analyzing market trends, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and driving the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to ensure product availability and optimized inventory levels across the Indian market.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Forecasting and Data Analysis: Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and external factors to develop accurate demand forecasts and maintain statistical models.
Inventory Optimization and Process Development (40%): Support inventory management, recommend strategy adjustments, and continuously improve planning tools.
KPIs and Continuous Improvement (20%): Track performance metrics, develop dashboards, analyze forecast errors, and implement best practices.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Statistics, or related field.
6+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical modeling and forecasting tools.
Experience with ERP/Demand Planning systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Proficiency in advanced Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau preferred).
