Base pay range $115,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

Supply Chain - Manager Mistral, Inc. is a member of Mistral Group, a team of independent companies, each operating in different markets worldwide, while collectively sharing the mission of "Bridging" operational gaps in the Defense and Law Enforcement Markets with practical, innovative, and high readiness solutions.

Mistral Inc. is looking for a dynamic Supply Chain Manager to support our expanding production and network of subcontract manufacturers and suppliers for our Defense and Homeland Security product lines. This is a full‑time, on‑site position at our Nottingham, MD manufacturing facility reporting to the Plant Manager.

Primary responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies to enable an effective and efficient supply chain / sourcing infrastructure for Mistral.

Responsible for accurate inventory control, all aspects of inventory management, and ensuring accuracy within ERP inventory & material planning systems.

Supervise and manage the procurement team in all aspects of purchasing.

Issue all needed RFQs and negotiate all terms for purchase based on the criteria of each project, including buying materials that are complex. Upon concluding the negotiation, assign to purchasing.

Ensure that all purchase orders for projects are issued to vendors within four days of receipt of SO. Assist the PLM in determining whether components need to be ordered or exist in inventory.

Develop, build consensus, and execute purchasing strategies based on business short term and long‑term objectives, including new vendor development.

Provide and utilize tools to clearly evaluate and communicate recommendations for vendors and supplier selection based on cost, quality, schedule, financial assurances, reliability, and other relevant considerations.

Develop, communicate and drive departmental KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to continuously measure performance as well as identify improvement areas.

Establish benchmarks for measurement of improvements in sourcing cost and efficiency.

Efficiently manage the use, demand, and movement of inventory of materials and associated material documentation to include material consumptions.

Support the development, execution, and administration of purchase orders, vendor and supplier agreements, and supporting documents.

Support cash flow forecasting efforts by communicating anticipated costs, delivery dates, and anticipated invoice receipt dates for procured materials.

Weekly monitoring of the inventory.

Establish a network of domestic suppliers.

Negotiate and ensure subcontractors/vendors on time deliveries.

Requirements

3 years’ experience as a Supply Chain Manager in a manufacturing facility.
