Base pay range $120,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr
About the Role We’re seeking an experienced
Superintendent
with a strong background in
water and wastewater infrastructure
to lead field operations across a range of civil infrastructure projects. This position oversees day-to-day construction activities, ensuring crews, subcontractors, and equipment are coordinated efficiently and work is completed safely, on schedule, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
Lead field operations for water/wastewater infrastructure projects including
underground utilities, excavation, concrete work , pump stations, treatment structures, and related civil scopes.
Manage and coordinate multiple crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials.
Oversee installation of
water, sewer, and stormwater systems , ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Enforce company safety policies and maintain a safe, compliant jobsite at all times.
Work closely with Project Managers to maintain schedules, track progress, and resolve field-level challenges.
Review drawings, identify constructability issues, and assist with planning and sequencing.
Conduct daily reporting, documentation, and communication with project stakeholders.
Ensure quality control across all phases of construction, including excavation, trenching, formwork, concrete placement, and utility installation.
Qualifications
5+ years of superintendent experience
in heavy civil, water/wastewater, or underground utility construction.
Strong technical knowledge of
pipeline installation, excavation safety, concrete structures , and associated civil infrastructure work.
Proven ability to manage field crews and subcontractors on complex, fast-paced projects.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
Strong communication and leadership skills with a focus on problem-solving and jobsite efficiency.
OSHA certifications or other safety credentials preferred.
