Part‑Time Premium Field Auditor (Hybrid) – Experienced Only
NEIS, LLC, a leading provider of insurance audit and loss control prevention services since 1945, seeks a Premium Field Auditor to enhance our team. The role is based from home with daily travel to audit locations, averaging 2–4 days per week within the assigned territory.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct insurance premium audits for Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Automobile policies by reviewing policyholder records and applying manual rules and company standards.
Prepare for audits by identifying necessary information and records.
Schedule audits to maximize efficient use of time.
Correspond with insured parties via phone, email, and mail to set up audit appointments.
Examine policyholder records, gather data to determine correct business activity classifications, and write effective operation descriptions.
Prepare complete audit documents, explain results to insureds, and communicate outcomes to the office.
Travel to multiple audit locations.
Work from home for 2–3 days per week, completing remote audits for the hybrid position.
Job Requirements
Associate’s Degree or equivalent plus at least two years of premium audit experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial documents.
General PC proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of Visual Audit is a plus.
Strong communication skills with customers and staff.
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
Maintain automobile insurance with bodily injury limits of at least $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident or $300,000 combined.
Compensation and Benefits
$44–$46 per billable hour.
