Job Summary The Department of Neurology seeks a part-time General Neurologist (Headache Specialist) / Clinical Assistant Professor (HS). The successful candidate will provide outpatient services and oversee clinical operations.
Provide four general neurology clinic sessions, treating general neurology and headache patients.
Assume the role of clinic director, overseeing operations, supervising faculty and residents, and leading performance improvement.
Be a full department member, actively participating in undergraduate and graduate medical education, and contribute to departmental and university committees.
Required Qualifications
Medical Doctor Degree.
New York State Medical Licensure.
Board Certified or Board Eligible.
Preferred Qualifications Preferred qualifications may include additional certifications in headache management and teaching experience.
Work Schedule Variable Days; Variable Hours (Full-Time). Schedule may be negotiated given the part‑time nature of the position.
Salary Grade/Rank Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications, consistent with the S salary range. Pursuant to Executive Order 161, compensation history is collected only after a conditional offer is extended.
