Job Summary

The Department of Neurology seeks a part-time General Neurologist (Headache Specialist) / Clinical Assistant Professor (HS). The successful candidate will provide outpatient services and oversee clinical operations.

  • Provide four general neurology clinic sessions, treating general neurology and headache patients.
  • Assume the role of clinic director, overseeing operations, supervising faculty and residents, and leading performance improvement.
  • Be a full department member, actively participating in undergraduate and graduate medical education, and contribute to departmental and university committees.

Required Qualifications

  • Medical Doctor Degree.
  • New York State Medical Licensure.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred qualifications may include additional certifications in headache management and teaching experience.

Work Schedule

Variable Days; Variable Hours (Full-Time). Schedule may be negotiated given the part‑time nature of the position.

Salary Grade/Rank

Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications, consistent with the S salary range. Pursuant to Executive Order 161, compensation history is collected only after a conditional offer is extended.
