Overview Join GFT as a Strategic Vendor Management Director. In this role you will lead GFT’s strategic relationships with enterprise software vendors, ensuring the business maximizes value from these partnerships. The position offers a hybrid work schedule from GFT Inc locations in the US or full‑remote options.

What You Will Do

Serve as the primary relationship owner for key software vendors such as Autodesk, Bentley, ESRI and other technology providers.

Develop, operate, and scale a partnership model that aligns vendor enterprise programs with the firm’s business objectives and digital initiatives.

Collaborate with business groups and Strategic Services leaders to deliver efficiencies, innovation, talent upskilling, and growth.

Lead joint planning activities with vendors to influence product roadmaps, service offerings, and support models tailored to GFT’s needs.

Establish governance frameworks for tracking vendor activities, performance, and value to the business.

Align vendor enterprise program benefits (training, support, business development, marketing, innovation programs) with GFT operations.

Proactively manage innovation workstreams with vendors to ensure engagement and alignment with strategic needs.

Track financial spend, license allocation, and utilization for corporate functions and project delivery teams.

Serve as primary point of contact for conflict resolution.

Partner with IT procurement on contract renewals and negotiations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.

Experience utilizing technology vendor enterprise programs for business outcomes.

Knowledge of the AEC industry and key vendors’ use cases.

Proven ability to manage multiple technology workstreams to desired outcomes and schedule.

10+ years’ experience in software vendor management, enterprise licensing, or IT.

Proven experience managing technology vendor programs against strategic company initiatives.

10+ years’ experience in the AEC industry with key vendor partnerships.

Certifications from vendor programs are a plus.

Compensation The salary range for this role is $210,000 – $275,000, depending on experience and geographic location.
