What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Provide legal support as needed by the General Counsel
Draft, review, and revise contracts and transactional agreements with quick turnaround times
Offer timely legal counsel to internal business units and executives on various topics
Conduct legal research and monitor applicable laws and industry publications
Communicate policies and procedures clearly to staff
What is Required (Qualifications):
Juris Doctorate and membership in at least one U.S. State bar
Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing law in relevant areas
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
Proficient in legal research and drafting, including use of Westlaw and PACER
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Familiarity with communications and privacy laws
Experience in a large firm or in-house setting
AV peer review rating
Licensure in New York, Washington D.C., or California
