Our client, a leading supplier to critically cleanroom environments, is seeking a Procurement Manager to join their team. As a Procurement Manager, you will be part of the Supply Chain Department supporting Operations and Distribution Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong people leadership, analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
What’s the Job?
Lead procurement operations for U.S. distribution, including strategic sourcing, vendor management, and inventory control.
Develop and execute purchasing strategies for industrial commodities and consumables.
Optimize inventory levels using MRP, demand forecasting, and ERP systems (SAP).
Implement Kanban systems and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure supply chain efficiency and cost savings.
What’s Needed?
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, or related field.
5+ years of purchasing experience, ideally in industrial distribution.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP) and strong knowledge of MRP principles.
Expertise in Kanban, VMI, and demand forecasting methodologies.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and people leadership skills.
