Talent Acquisition Partner
KMA Consulting LLC is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner for First Atlantic Healthcare in Southern Maine. The role involves recruiting top talent, developing sourcing strategies, and collaborating with hiring teams. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of recruiting experience, preferably in healthcare. Location Portland, Maine
Position Overview This position offers a hybrid flexible schedule with some travel to the local Southern Maine facilities. The Talent Acquisition Partner will work closely with the facility-based hiring teams to recruit and attract top talent within Southern Maine. The Talent Acquisition Partner will research, develop, and implement effective sourcing, recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent.
Responsibilities
Forecast hiring needs, source potential hires on various platforms.
Build relationships with passive candidates and hiring managers.
Partner with internal customers (facility leaders and hiring managers) to build candidate pipelines and help determine staffing needs.
Utilize a variety of recruiting techniques to find and attract the best talent.
Support diversity hiring efforts for all levels within the organization.
Leverage LinkedIn, Indeed, Facebook & other recruiting/social media and niche platforms for sourcing and posting.
Create a world‑class candidate experience for all applicants.
Build college/university relationships; community partnerships and professional organizations to enhance internship and training opportunities.
Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
Identify, attend and participate in college, community and professional job fairs.
Assist with coaching and training hiring managers with the interview process as needed.
Facilitate and evaluate all phases of the recruitment process.
Track key recruiting KPIs, including time to fill and source of hire and make recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience.
2-4+ years progressive Recruiting/Talent Acquisition experience within a healthcare or 24/7 work environment preferred.
Professional Human Resources certification (PHR, SPRH, SHRM‑SP, SHRM‑CP, or other recognized credential) preferred.
Hands‑on experience with candidate sourcing and evaluation.
Experience working in HRIS and/or applicant tracking systems (Symplr or HC Source a plus).
Current knowledge of ME and Federal labor/employment laws applicable to hiring and recruitment.
Ability to interface and communicate within all levels of the organization.
Prioritize tasks and be flexible in a constantly changing work environment including adjusting work schedule to meet the customer needs.
Strong planning and organizational skills with outstanding customer service and team player attitude.
Manage multiple hiring pipelines and open roles, excellent candidate follow‑through, proactively source utilizing creative search techniques for passive candidates and working with various job boards.
Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative and implement creative ideas.
