Job Description We are working with a prestigious international law firm that is actively seeking a mid‑level Fund Formation Attorney to join its growing team in Silicon Valley. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 3–5 years of experience advising on private investment fund matters to step into a high‑profile role with substantial client exposure and advancement potential.
The ideal candidate will have direct experience representing both fund sponsors and institutional investors, and will be well‑versed in the formation and structuring of private equity, venture capital, real estate, or hedge funds. Candidates should have completed a range of fund formation transactions and possess experience in sponsor‑level structuring and secondary transactions involving LP and portfolio company interests.
Key Qualifications
3–5 years of fund formation experience at a national or international law firm
Strong background in private investment fund transactions, including formation, regulatory, and operational matters
Experience with general partner/management company arrangements and secondary transactions
Excellent academic credentials from a top‑tier law school
Admitted to practice in California or eligible for admission
