Responsibilities

Expand the sales of Johnson & Johnson products and convert competitive products in alignment with company policy and sales direction.

Understand and demonstrate proper surgical use of our products to physicians.

Handle customer product questions and objections consistently with sales training methodology.

Maintain and expand current accounts, build new accounts, develop strong customer relationships, and meet quotas for a variety of products.

Execute the selling cycle in a concise, professional, ethical, and persuasive manner, leading the customer to action.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree with a minimum of 3+ years of relevant healthcare professional sales experience and/or business-to-business sales experience, or equivalent level experience in an interventional environment.

Minimum of three years of Neurovascular industry experience.

2–5 years of Medical Device sales experience preferred.

Experience selling to surgeons in an operating room or radiology suite environment.

Valid US driver’s license and successful completion of background investigation, including driving record review.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to relocate and reside within the assigned territory.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Certifications/Licenses and Affiliations

Exempt position requiring the ability to establish an effective work schedule that accommodates frequent disruptions and flexible work hours.

Knowledge of healthcare industry, medical device industry, disease states, and therapeutic and institutional trends.

Sales experience in the neurovascular space and/or medical device field preferred.

Must successfully complete company training programs.

Valid driver’s license in the state of residence, advanced computer skills, and ability to multitask independently.

Additional Position Requirements

Willingness and ability to travel overnight locally, regionally, and nationally up to 40%.

Valid driver’s license in state of residence and clean driving record.

Position requires periodic presence near heavy machinery and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Ability to wear heavy lead protective aprons and other safety equipment in a lab environment.

Base Pay Range $75,000 – $100,000 per year, plus incentive compensation.

Pay Transparency We maintain a highly competitive sales incentive compensation program. This position is eligible for participation in the current plan. The position may also be eligible for a company car through the FLEET program.
