How you’ll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) Delta’s Reservations Technology and Innovation team is redefining how customers and employees experience travel. We’re looking for a Product Owner who will own and evolve our workforce management and specialist frontline tools platforms, ensuring they deliver measurable value for both our customers and Reservation specialists. What You’ll Do (not comprehensive)

Provide leadership and direction to Analysts in reviewing, communicating, and translating business needs for both technical and non-technical audiences and stakeholders

Own and prioritize the product backlog to deliver high-value features aligned with business goals

Write clear user stories, features, and acceptance criteria that capture both functional and non-functional needs

Serve as the voice of the customer, balancing usability, business outcomes, and technical feasibility

Partner with Product Managers, designers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver intuitive, impactful solutions

Actively participate in agile ceremonies (planning, grooming, demos, retrospectives) and champion best practices

Align with other Product Owners to manage dependencies and maintain a cohesive product ecosystem

Monitor adoption, satisfaction, and operational efficiency to measure product success

Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes transparently with business and IT leaders

Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, safety, and continuous improvement

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

Proven experience as a Product Owner (or similar role) in an agile environment

Solid understanding of agile practices, backlog management, and stakeholder engagement

Strong communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical conversations

Curiosity-driven mindset — always asking “why” to uncover real needs and root causes

Ability to manage competing priorities while keeping focus on customer value

Proficiency with agile tools such as Agility (VersionOne), Jira, or similar

Candidates for this position may have a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience

Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data

Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.

Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency

Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

Agile certification (CSPO, SAFe PO/PM, or equivalent)

Experience in digital platforms with both internal and external-facing channels

Background in airline reservations, ticketing, or travel technology

Strong understanding of customer journey mapping, service design, or digital transformation

Ability to define and track product success metrics and KPIs
