The Disruption Containment team in OCC and Ops Analytics improves Delta’s operations by promoting quicker, smarter decisions using real‑time data, predictive analytics, collaboration, and analysis to reduce disruption and optimize customer experience cost‑effectively. The tech strategy team defines the vision and priorities for disruption containment technology and data, manages the OCC tech roadmap, oversees IT capital, and develops initiatives for enterprise and frontline value.

To support these efforts, the team seeks a technology strategy program manager who will:

Support the development of the technical vision and roadmap for Disruption Containment tooling.

Conduct research on emerging technologies and assess feasibility for integration into OCC systems.

Collaborate with product owners and architects to align delivery with strategic goals.

Partner with OCC leaders, IT leadership, and cross divisional stakeholders to gather and refine disruption containment technology requirements.

Assist in defining use cases, capabilities, business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.

Contribute to the scoping and shaping of simulation platforms and digital twin capabilities.

Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities for innovation in operational reliability.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)

3+ years of experience in technology strategy, product development, or analytics.

Familiarity with AI/ML, simulation, and optimization technologies.

Strong research and synthesis skills with ability to communicate complex ideas.

Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.

Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.

Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.

Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.

Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS)

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Master’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, or Business.

Experience with airline operations and OCC technology platforms.

Background in enterprise architecture or product ownership of analytics tools.
