Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure. Utilize core AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, RDS, Route 53, ELB, CloudFront, Auto Scaling) and serverless architectures. Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform (preferred) or AWS CloudFormation for automating resource provisioning. Containerize applications using Docker and manage orchestration with ECS or EKS (Kubernetes). Set up, maintain, and automate CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline. Write automation and tooling scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Monitor, log, and troubleshoot systems using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack. Configure and manage AWS networking components: VPCs, subnets, NAT Gateway, VPN, Direct Connect, and load balancing. Implement and manage security measures, including IAM policies, KMS, Secrets Manager, Config, GuardDuty, and enforce least-privilege access. Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, DevOps, and security teams to ensure smooth operations. Create and maintain runbooks, architecture diagrams, and configuration documentation. Own AWS environment lifecycle from design through operations, including cost optimization and budgeting. Participate in architecture reviews, disaster recovery planning, and incident response. Stay current with AWS updates, best practices, and emerging technologies. Work in Agile/Scrum teams using tools like Jira and Confluence. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues under pressure. Show adaptability, eagerness to learn, and ownership of assigned projects and tasks. Seniority Level
