The D’Amore‑McKim School of Business at Northeastern University is seeking a distinguished professor in the Entrepreneurship & Innovation (E&I) Group. The anticipated start date is Fall 2026.
About the D’Amore‑McKim School of Business The D’Amore‑McKim School of Business offers a unique model of business education that blends innovative classroom learning with real‑world business applications. Students explore theories with professors, engaging in cooperative education, corporate residency, study abroad, and community service. The School’s connections with the corporate world shape research agendas that influence innovative business practices, enabling students to become successful leaders.
Responsibilities
Develop initiatives that enhance the School’s scholarly reputation in innovation, entrepreneurship, or global management through high‑impact research and related activities, including industry dynamics, firm strategies, innovation management, entrepreneurship, and global business.
Help increase the visibility and prestige of the D’Amore‑McKim School of Business E&I faculty.
Promote and enhance research activities of the E&I Group and work within the University’s entrepreneurial ecosystem to develop initiatives and programs that elevate the School’s and University’s reputation among executives, policymakers, and peers.
Work with global student populations.
Qualifications
Doctorate in Management or a related field by the appointment start date.
Outstanding scholars with an international reputation for excellence in research, teaching, and service, accompanied by clear indications of continued research success.
Strong record of impact on practitioners through practitioner‑oriented publications or creation of novel programs for companies and institutions.
Background in or commitment to working with diverse student populations and culturally diverse environments.
Ability to mentor junior colleagues and foster a collegial environment.
Commitment to fostering diverse and inclusive environments and promoting experiential learning.
Strong record in institution building and program development.
