We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Project Manager to lead key software initiatives within our fast-paced, customer-first organization. This role requires strong influence, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to drive execution in a silicon and networking startup environment. Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute projects: develop and manage software project plans, schedules, and deliverables using tools such as Jira and Confluence. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure on-time execution.
Manage requirements: gather, refine, and document software requirements early in the process, ensuring alignment across stakeholders.
Resource planning: evaluate team capacity, plan for both new and ongoing projects, and partner with software managers to advocate for hiring and resource needs.
Plan releases: define software release schedules, track progress, and lead efforts for bug triage, tracking, and resolution.
Communicate with stakeholders: provide clear dashboard updates on risks, progress, and dependencies, ensuring transparency and executive alignment.
Maintain documentation: standardize and maintain architecture, design, and project documentation to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
Manage customer issues and risks: identify and elevate customer-facing issues and project risks; work with software engineers and cross-functional teams to implement effective mitigation strategies.
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of experience in software project or program management.
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and proficiency with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced startup environment.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications
PMP certification or equivalent project management credential.
Experience in High-Performance Computing (HPC) and/or Artificial Intelligence (AI) environments.
Scrum Master certification.
Location This is a remote position for employees residing within the United States.
