Base pay range
$100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr We’re seeking a hands‑on Network Engineer with a focus on security, who loves solving complex problems and building secure, scalable network solutions. If you thrive in fast‑moving environments and enjoy working across firewalls, SD‑WAN, cloud, and data center technologies, this role will keep you challenged and growing. Although this role is 99% remote, it is a requirement that you are a commutable distance to Dallas Fort‑Worth in case of a potential data center outage. What You’ll Do You’ll be the go‑to expert for network and security architecture across a multi‑site enterprise environment. Fortinet Focus
Design and support FortiGate firewalls, VPNs, SD‑WAN, HA, segmentation Manage FortiSwitch, FortiAP, and FortiAnalyzer/FortiManager Support FortiMail and advanced security features Connectivity & Edge
Engineer multi‑carrier BGP for resilient WAN Troubleshoot complex site, cloud, and remote connectivity Data Center & Delivery
Configure and manage F5 and Kemp load balancers Virtualization & Cloud Edge
Work with VMware networking (vDS, NSX, micro‑segmentation) Monitoring & Operations
Maintain LogicMonitor, SNMP/NetFlow, syslog, SIEM integrations Act as Tier 3/4 escalation and contribute to runbooks and documentation Support ITSM workflows and after‑hours deployments What You Bring 7+ years in enterprise networking/security Strong Fortinet skill set (FortiGate, SD‑WAN, FortiSwitch/AP, Analyzer/Manager) Experience with Cato SASE, BGP, NSX, VMware networking Familiarity with F5, Kemp, Cloudflare, Cisco MDS Solid understanding of monitoring/security tools (LogicMonitor, CrowdStrike, SIEM) Excellent communication, documentation, and cross‑team collaboration Ability to lead projects from design through implementation If you are highly experienced in Fortinet and Cisco and enjoy owning complex network environments in a smart, collaborative team, This role is for you!
