Supply Chain Manager | Whitehall, MI
Salary Range: $97,000 - $144,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency, cost, and quality.
Manage all aspects of procurement, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management for raw materials and components.
Oversee inventory management across the entire supply chain, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet production demands and minimize carrying costs.
Coordinate logistics and distribution activities, including inbound material flow and outbound finished goods, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Collaborate with production, sales, and engineering teams to develop accurate demand forecasts and production plans.
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including supplier performance, geopolitical factors, and material shortages.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain to enhance operational performance and reduce waste.
Recommended Qualifications
5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field.
Proven proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply chain planning tools.
Strong understanding of procurement, inventory optimization, logistics, and demand forecasting.
Demonstrated leadership, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Bonus Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
Proficiency with advanced data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
APICS CSCP or CPIM certification.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Experience with specific advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP APO, Kinaxis).
