What You’ll Do CoreWeave’s Capacity Planning team drives the strategy and execution of compute and storage supply across our rapidly scaling data center network. This team enables CoreWeave’s customers to power their workloads efficiently through data‑driven forecasting, supply optimization, and partnership with cross‑functional teams across Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations.

About the Role As a

CPU Capacity Planner II , you will manage end‑to‑end CPU capacity planning—from forecasting and modeling demand to coordinating supply and deployment execution. You’ll ensure CoreWeave’s compute infrastructure scales in lockstep with customer growth while balancing cost, performance, and operational efficiency. This role offers a chance to shape one of the world’s fastest‑growing compute infrastructures and directly influence CoreWeave’s ability to deliver at scale.

Who You Are

5–7 years of experience in capacity planning, hardware planning, or supply/demand forecasting—ideally with CPU, server, or semiconductor products.

Understanding of CPU architectures and performance metrics (cores, TDP, cache, clock speed) and their impact on data center planning.

Skilled in large dataset management and analysis using Excel, SQL, or Python; data visualization experience in Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.

Proven experience coordinating with Data Center Operations on large‑scale deployments.

Strong analytical skills with scenario‑based forecasting and what‑if modeling experience.

Demonstrated success working cross‑functionally with Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations.

Excellent communication and organization skills, translating data into clear, actionable recommendations.

Experience in cloud infrastructure, hyperscale, or data center environments is a strong plus.

Preferred

Experience with CPU SKU planning, silicon lifecycle management, or supplier coordination.

Familiarity with compute resource management and planning automation tools.

Compensation The base salary range for this role is $122,000 to $163,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (eligibility‑based).

Our Workplace While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets. New hires will be invited to attend onboarding at one of our hubs within their first month. Teams also gather quarterly to support collaboration.
