Store Manager – The Pittsburgh Paints Company
The Pittsburgh Paints Company is seeking a motivated Store Manager to empower the team to achieve outstanding operational results while delivering exceptional customer service. The role is based in Baltimore, MD and requires onsite presence 100% of the time. The Store Manager will report to the Regional Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve sales and profit plan by controlling expenses, working capital, inventory, shrinkage, and growing net contribution.
Focus on customer service by ensuring high service standards are maintained.
Resolve customer issues quickly and efficiently.
Maintain associate engagement through training, mentoring, motivation, and issue resolution.
Understand local market dynamics, operations-based selling, and customer base.
Ensure the store's appearance, both exterior and interior, meets required standards.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of retail store experience.
Preferred knowledge of paint products and sundries.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet applications.
Availability for flexible shifts and a minimum of 50 hours per week; valid driver’s license required.
Physical ability to lift 80 pounds infrequently and 40-60 pounds daily.
Consent to background investigation, drug screen, and motor vehicle record check.
