Lifestyle Consultant
– Gurwin Healthcare System. Full‑time position in East Northport, NY. Join the team to promote our new Continuous Care Retirement Community and help residents plan their retirement future.
Pay Range Base pay: $70,000.00/yr - $72,000.00/yr. Actual salary will be based on experience and skills.
Responsibilities
Meet expected Independent Living (IL) sales goals for contacts, appointments, and completed sales.
Effectively communicate and develop relationships with prospective residents, guiding them through the sales process.
Provide excellent customer service and timely follow‑up with prospects via phone, email, mail, or appointments.
Develop relationships with professional referral sources such as elder care attorneys, realtors, financial planners, and downsizers.
Set appointments for IL prospects to tour the community and conduct tours for walk‑ins.
Be available for rotation/on‑call responsibilities to manage incoming calls and web inquiries.
Initiate and process applications, including financial and medical information, and process deposits.
Notify depositors of approval/disapproval status; if approved, set appointment for contract signing and process 10% deposit.
Schedule closing/move‑in dates and coordinate with other departments to ensure a stress‑free transition.
Enter and update the CRM database with accurate daily and weekly tracking of calls, appointments, and follow‑ups.
Prepare monthly marketing reports and competitive analysis for the Director of Sales.
Assist the sales team in executing special events to attract prospective residents.
Maintain awareness of the senior marketplace and report significant changes to the Director of Sales.
Assist the Director of Sales in developing and implementing appropriate incentives.
Abide by the organization’s code of conduct in all duties.
Perform other duties assigned by the Director of Sales.
Qualifications
Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily in a pleasant, courteous, and positive manner.
Bachelor’s degree in a related major preferred; two years of related experience or equivalent education and experience acceptable.
Proficiency with industry standard computer programs.
Flexible schedule to accommodate evenings and/or weekends for special events and appointments.
