Our client is seeking a highly experienced
Controller
to lead and oversee all accounting and finance operations across multiple business entities. This role is responsible for ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial support for executive leadership. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader with deep expertise in GAAP, complex financial operations, and multi‑entity environments. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all accounting functions, including general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, revenue recognition, and month‑end close. Oversee preparation of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Implement and maintain internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Provide financial insights, reporting, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership to support business growth and performance. Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and financial planning activities. Lead, mentor, and develop an accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement. Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions. Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and automation initiatives across the finance function. Support financial integration and analysis across multiple business entities and acquisitions as needed. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required; MBA or Master’s in Accounting preferred. CPA required. 10–15 years of progressive accounting and finance experience. Minimum of 5 years in senior financial leadership roles (Controller, VP Finance, or equivalent). Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and multi‑entity financial operations. Proven experience leading accounting teams and partnering with executive leadership. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Experience with financial systems, ERP platforms, and process optimization preferred. Seniority level
