Position Summary We are seeking a strategic and collaborative

HR Business Partner (HRBP)

to join our Americas HR team, based in Clear Lake, TX. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to employees and leaders across Canada, the United States, and Brazil, supporting both functional and manufacturing teams. As a key partner to leaders at all levels—including the executive team—you will play a critical role in shaping and executing people strategies that drive business success. Your focus will include leadership development, performance management, organizational change, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with senior leaders to understand business priorities and translate them into actionable HR strategies.

Serve as a trusted advisor on talent planning, organizational effectiveness, and workforce optimization.

Collaborate with global HR teams to ensure alignment with enterprise-wide initiatives while tailoring solutions for regional needs.

Assess engagement trends and implement strategies that enhance motivation, well‑being, and retention.

Partner with leaders to identify, implement, and sustain programs that build leadership capabilities at all levels.

Facilitate coaching, mentoring, and learning opportunities to support career growth and succession planning.

Drive employee engagement initiatives by fostering a culture of recognition, inclusion, and continuous feedback.

Model and reinforce Ketjen’s core values in all interactions and decision‑making.

Drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement through effective performance management processes.

Coach leaders on goal setting, feedback, and employee development.

Serve as a trusted advisor for complex employee relations matters.

Lead and support change initiatives to enhance organizational agility and effectiveness.

Partner with leadership to design and implement organizational structures that optimize performance.

Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve employee experience.

Champion best practices and innovative HR solutions across the region.

Qualifications Required

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

7 or more years of progressive HR experience, ideally in manufacturing or industrial setting.

Strong business acumen and ability to translate business needs into HR strategies.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships and influence across all levels.

Agile, flexible, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.

Solid understanding of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices.

Preferred

Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP).

Experience working in a chemical manufacturing environment.
