Optometrist – Full‑time – Medically‑Oriented Private Practice – Bristol, TN
Eyes On Eyecare is seeking a full‑time optometrist to join our multi‑location practice in Bristol, TN. We emphasize medical optometry and provide a robust team, state‑of‑the‑art technology, and a work‑life balance with no weekends or nights.
What You’ll Need
Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree (or pending)
Valid TN or VA state license to practice optometry (or pending)
Clinically sound, primary‑care ready physician
Strong interpersonal and clinical skills
Eagerness to provide excellent, patient‑focused eye care
Why Work Here? Exposure:
50‑50 schedule between primary care and medical conditions such as diabetes, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. Opportunity to bring a specialty niche such as scleral lenses or low vision.
Environment:
Team of ODs, technicians, front‑desk staff, and scribes. State‑of‑the‑art equipment: automated digital phoropters, wide‑angle retinal imaging, OCT, Keratograph 5M with Jenvis dry‑eye reporting, dark‑adaptometry, macular pigment density testing, Lipiview and Lipiflow.
Schedule Standard 8 AM–5 PM, Monday–Friday. No weekends or nights. 2 patients per hour to ensure quality care.
