Senior DevOps Engineer Pay: $100,000 - $140,000 base salary Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience

Proven experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure management

Strong expertise in Azure DevOps Pipelines and Azure Bicep for automation

Proficiency in version control with Git and GitHub

Ability to assess and improve security and risk posture within Azure environments

Experience deploying and managing applications in Azure, including CI/CD workflows

Skills in scripting and automation, e.g., PowerShell or Bash

Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage automated CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps

Provision, configure, and optimize Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage, and networking

Write and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Azure Bicep for repeatable deployments

Manage Azure subscriptions, ensuring proper access control, cost management, and governance

Monitor application performance and system health, addressing issues proactively

Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment and releases in Azure

Conduct security and risk assessments of Azure environments to ensure compliance

Potentially re-architect Azure resources to support growth and efficiency

Support and enhance global governance and architecture standards for Azure cloud deployment

Stay updated on emerging cloud practices and advise on best practices for security, compliance, and scalability
