Director, AI Implementation
ABM’s Products, Partnerships, and Innovation team plays a critical role in shaping the future state and strategic direction of the organization. Reporting to the Head of Products, Partnerships, and Innovation, the Director of AI Implementation is responsible for formulating and enabling our AI strategy in partnership with cross‑functional teams. This role will focus on leveraging AI to enhance operational efficiency, drive innovation, and create value for clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AI technologies, proven leadership capabilities, and experience scaling AI solutions within an enterprise context.
Job Description Location: New York, NY; Atlanta, GA; or Houston, TX. We require in‑office presence Monday through Thursday.
Pay: $175,000 – $210,000 plus incentive or bonus program eligibility.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
Proven business and technology acumen with the ability to bridge between business goals and technological feasibility.
Minimum 8 years of experience developing and executing technology strategies in a corporate or consulting environment, including at least 2 years related to AI.
Proven ability to lead AI initiatives from concept to deployment, managing cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
Experience with cloud platforms, AI frameworks, data engineering pipelines, and change management, training development, and implementation.
Experience managing cross‑functional teams and committees.
Ability to collaborate with senior executives to align AI initiatives with strategic business objectives.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, conveying complex AI concepts to non‑technical audiences.
Strong problem‑solving skills and a track record of delivering measurable business outcomes.
Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating technology contracts.
Job Activities
Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for AI integration across ABM’s operations, focusing on business value, process changes, and adoption.
Lead the process design and implementation of AI‑driven products and tools to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with the Head of Data & Architecture to plan development for custom build solutions.
Help redesign job activities to work effectively with AI.
Partner with change management and training organizations to equip the workforce to consume and leverage AI solutions.
Partner with business units to identify high‑impact use cases for AI and drive adoption across the organization.
Oversee governance of all AI work at ABM, tracking business value, completing risk assessments, and maintaining documentation.
Collaborate with technology teams to build scalable, secure, and reliable AI infrastructure.
Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to keep ABM at the forefront of AI innovation.
Prepare and present insights, progress updates, and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning within the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience deploying AI solutions within a large corporate environment.
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations for AI technologies.
Expertise in developing partnerships with external AI providers or academic institutions.
Passion for driving transformational change through AI.
