Base pay range $80.00/hr - $95.00/hr
Are you ready to lead cutting-edge cloud transformations? We’re looking for an experienced Google Cloud Architect to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and resilient solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This is a key leadership role driving cloud strategy and architecture initiatives across enterprise environments.
What You’ll Do
Design and implement cloud-native architectures using GCP services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, etc.).
Lead cloud migration projects—assessment, planning, and execution of workloads to GCP.
Define and enforce cloud governance, security, and cost optimization strategies.
Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Deployment Manager, or gcloud CLI.
Provide technical leadership to development and operations teams.
Evaluate new GCP services and recommend adoption strategies.
Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization.
Conduct architecture reviews and drive continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
7+ years in IT infrastructure or cloud architecture.
3+ years of hands‑on experience designing and deploying solutions on GCP.
Deep understanding of GCP services (IAM, VPC, Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud SQL, Dataflow).
Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, gcloud CLI).
Strong knowledge of cloud security, identity management, and compliance frameworks.
Experience managing operations teams and collaborating with offshore teams.
Preferred
Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect).
Experience with hybrid/multi‑cloud environments.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
