Role Summary The Senior Analyst, Data & Analytics is a core role within National Life’s data transformation, supporting scalable analytical solutions and partnering with business units, data, and engineering teams.
Position is onsite; expected in-office four days a week (Mon‑Thu).
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Lead cross‑functional data initiatives to align analytics efforts with strategic business goals.
Develop and deliver dashboards and reports, and enable advanced analytics in partnership with the AI Center of Excellence.
Maintain awareness of analytics industry trends, emerging methods, and support continuous improvement of analytics capabilities across the organization.
Assist in documenting and enforcing analytics standards, best practices, and methodologies.
Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in data governance and analytics.
Monitor analytics performance, track adoption, user engagement, business impact, and recommend optimization.
Partner with IT and business teams to ensure seamless integration of data solutions into production environments.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Math, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related quantitative field.
10+ years of experience with data governance, data management or data analytics.
Strong communication skills, able to explain technical solutions to non‑technical audiences.
Ability to learn data & technology as it relates to business functions.
Analytical mindset with experience solving complex problems and deriving effective solutions.
Ability to navigate ambiguity in decision making independently.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands‑on experience with Databricks or other cloud‑based analytics platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS Redshift).
Experience using business intelligence tools like Tableau and Alteryx.
Proficiency in coding languages such as SQL, Python, Pyspark, etc.

Base Pay Range US$80,625 – $118,250 USD.
Additional Compensation and Benefits May include a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, 401(k) eligibility, paid time off, incentive programs, and at‑will employment. Salary and benefits may vary.
