Develop & execute strategic & operational plans for the Health Sciences division to ensure safe, efficient, & effective programming. Develop & recommend academic policies & procedures to the V.P. of Academic Affairs; ensure division compliance with college, state, & federal regulations. Conduct trend & data analysis to inform decision-making; based on data-driven needs. Serve as the primary liaison between the division & administration; facilitate effective communication of college policies, procedures, & goals to faculty & staff. Provide support to program directors, in the development, implementation, & evaluation of courses & programs, including distance learning & student learning outcomes (SLOs). Coordinate program reviews, feasibility studies for new programs, & recommendations for program sunsetting/teach-outs. Oversee specialized programmatic accreditation & ensure adherence to SACSCOC principles; coordinate site visits & required reporting. Oversee creation & management of quarterly & yearly course schedules to maximize enrollment. Oversee establishment & maintenance of clinical affiliation agreements/contracts with hospitals & healthcare facilities to ensure sufficient clinical placement for students. In collaboration with program directors, ensure all labs & training equipment meet industry safety standards & are maintained in accordance with OSHA & healthcare regulations. Create & administer division & departmental budgets. Identify, pursue, & manage grant opportunities to support program growth & faculty development. Submit required state & federal reports. Perform cost/benefit analyses of programs & operations as directed by the V.P. of Academic Affairs. Anticipate personnel needs; chair hiring committees; review & approve staff appointments. Supervise, mentor, & evaluate full-time & part-time faculty & staff. Manage the resolution of student, faculty, & staff issues; handle disciplinary matters in consultation with legal counsel when necessary. Represent the College at state-level councils, local workforce teams, & community committees; interact with government officials & regulatory agencies. Actively engage with Program Advisory Committees to ensure curriculum aligns with current healthcare industry standards & workforce demands. Complete annual mandatory risk management & compliance training. Qualifications

Master's degree from an accredited postsecondary institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education; doctorate strongly preferred. At least three (3) years of academic administrative experience in a postsecondary setting. At least three (3) years of postsecondary teaching experience or the equivalent of such experience, preferably in a primary education field represented in the Academic Unit.
