Full-Time Overview European Beauty Concepts, Ltd., a master distributor of professional Italian beauty brands, is seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive Accounting Specialist to manage daily financial operations in a fast-paced environment. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting our sales and logistics teams, and contributing to the company's overall financial health. Key Responsibilities Accounts Receivable Process Customer invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments. Maintain aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances. Reconcile customer statements and resolve discrepancies. Perform daily bank account reconciliation. Reconcile credit card transactions and merchant accounts. Verify deposits, chargebacks, and ACH transactions. General Ledger & Reporting Post journal entries and maintain GL accuracy. Assist in month-end closing and preparation of financial statements. Monitor expense accounts and support budget tracking. Work closely with the Sales Team to verify commissions, weekly payouts, and bonuses. Support logistics with cost analysis, delivery receipts, and inventory adjustments. Record customer shipping documents and assist in vendor tracking import costs (Italy shipments). Administrative & Compliance Maintain organized digital and physical financial files. Assist with monthly and annual tax preparation, audits, and financial compliance. Prepare required reports for management, banks, and insurance. Support HR with payroll hours and 1099 documentation when needed. Qualifications Required 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience. Strong knowledge of Zoho or similar software. Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas). Understanding of AP/AR, reconciliations, and GL accounting. Strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills. Ability to meet deadlines and work independently. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Preferred Experience in wholesale, distribution, or beauty industry. Familiarity with import documents, freight bills, and landed cost calculation. Soft Skills High level of integrity and confidentiality. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities.
